Bio

This is Grace.

Grace says hello.

Grace graduated from Oglethorpe University with a B.A. in communications and rhetoric. She minored in philosophy because she thought she was going to law school, but really, she's just a sado-masochist. She loves traveling, studied postmodern British literature and marketing at Oxford University in England, and interned in Beijing as a marketing intern/mascot for JCDecaux. In June of 2011, she was selected as a finalist for the 4A's Multicultural Advertising Internship Program and was hired by Eric Mower & Associates Atlanta as a summer intern. She speaks fluent English and Mandarin, plays the violin, and aspires to be the Asian Ina Garten.

Grace's parents hoped for a lawyer in the family, but she had other aspirations. Words. She loved, breathed, and consumed words. She has landed herself on many a library's black list for highlighting and pages-marking. She collects quotes and records them in her Moleskine notebooks. She reads the dictionary for fun. History confirmed the power of rhetoric; it had the capacity to build civilizations and dissolve empires. Rhetoric had the propensity to influence purchasing decisions and meld personal identity with brand identities. Grace found her calling in advertising copywriting, much to the chagrin of her parents.

Grace greatly appreciates your benevolence and patience in reading this bio, especially since she refers to herself in third-person like a royal prat.

Say hello to Grace.
